The main purpose of hot-dip galvanized steel planks is to provide a safe, durable, and efficient working platform for construction and industrial operations. Its core objectives are reflected in the following aspects:

Enhancing construction safety: Through features such as anti-slip perforations, fire resistance, corrosion resistance, and deformation resistance, the risk of worker slips, fires, collapses, and other accidents is significantly reduced.

Replacing traditional wood/bamboo planks: Overcoming the drawbacks of wooden planks being flammable, absorbing water and becoming heavy, prone to rot, and having a short lifespan (only 3–5 uses), thereby meeting the policy requirement of "using steel instead of wood."

Extending service life and reducing total lifecycle costs: The hot-dip galvanized layer (≥80μm) provides long-lasting corrosion protection, with a normal service life of 6–8 years. After disposal, 35%–40% of residual value can still be recovered, making the overall cost lower than that of wooden planks.

Adapting to complex construction environments: Especially suitable for sites such as shipyard sandblasting workshops, petrochemical plants, and nuclear power plants, which require high standards for sand accumulation resistance, alkali resistance, waterproofing, and anti-slip properties.

Improving assembly efficiency: Lightweight (only 1/1.5–2 of wooden planks), easy installation (with M18 bolt holes and kickboards), which can reduce the amount of scaffolding pipes used and speed up assembly and dismantling. ...
